Laminator – Open Mold and Infusion

LAMINATOR – OPEN MOLD AND INFUSION

Candidates with Gel-Coat, Chop Gun, and Vacuum Infusion methods are greatly preferred

Primary Job Duties:

– Work with fiberglass, resin and other materials

– Wax Plugs

– Spray Gel Coat

– Spray Fiberglass

– Roll Fiberglass

– Sand Glass Surface

– Cut and tab mold

– Tape off mold areas

– Mix catalysts into resins

– Install vacuums and feed lines

– Properly bag parts

– Pull finished parts from molds

– Work collaboratively with others within the department to ensure product quality, project schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction

Skills and Other Requirements:

– Able to use required tools such as block sanders, DA sanders, trim knives, putty knives, tape measure, and other hand tools as needed

– Must be a team player

– Previous experience in the marine or auto body industry a definite plus

Work Schedule:

– While we reserve the right to adjust schedules to suit legitimate business needs, the bulk of our Team Members work 7am to 3:30pm.

– Consistent, on time attendance is expected

Physical Requirements:

– Able to wear protective clothing as required (eyeglasses, gloves, clothing, respirators, dust mask)

– Able to pick up and carry a minimum of 30lbs. and use any tools necessary to perform job assignments

– Able and willing to work in a non-climate controlled environment
