Maintenance Mechanic (Experienced)

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (EXPERIENCED)

Primary Job Duties:

– Inspects and tests equipment and machinery to evaluate operating condition

– Troubleshoots complex mechanical malfunctions when necessary

– Determines materials and tools necessary for completing any equipment and machinery repairs

– Able to personally make needed repairs to a variety of equipment and machinery including CNC Routers, Forklifts, Hydraulic Compressors, Vacuum Pumps

– Performs routine maintenance according to established maintenance schedule

– Able to perform some routine auto maintenance

– Assists with other Facilities department projects as needed

Skills and Other Requirements:

– Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the installation, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of mechanical equipment and machinery

– Knowledge of safety hazards involved in various tasks and appropriate precautions needed for completion

– Ability to work from blueprints or sketches

– Knowledge and ability in the use of mechanics tools and shop equipment

– Basic electrical knowledge is a big plus

– Must be able to climb ladders or work in confined spaces when needed

– Must possess cell phone for communication with other team members

Work Schedule:

– While we reserve the right to adjust schedules to suit legitimate business needs, the bulk of our Team Members work 7am to 3:30pm.

– Must be able to work extended hours when a project or local weather emergencies dictate

– Consistent, on time attendance is expected.

Physical Requirements:

– Able to wear protective clothing as required (eyeglasses, gloves, clothing, respirators, dust mask)

– Able to pick up and carry up to 50lbs. and use any tools necessary to perform job assignments

– Able and willing to work in a non-climate controlled environment

– Must be able to climb ladders or work in confined spaces when needed
